More than 20 years ago, the PVC production industry mostly used gradient single screw plastic extruders. However, PVC belongs to a type of thermosensitive plastic. The PVC powder (sheet) should be granulated before being put into production. Now with the emergence of PVC powder dedicated extruder, there is no need for granulation, and the powder can be directly extruded to produce molded products. Currently, a small number of plastic product factories are also using parallel twin screw extruders for the production of PVC extruded pipes, profiles, etc. However, for the two types of extruders mentioned above, the one-time investment cost of the equipment is relatively high and the maintenance of the equipment is complex, especially in the production of hard PVC products. Compared with the conical double, the damage to the equipment is greater, and the service life of the equipment may be affected in the later stage.
