Introduction Of Production Equipment For Drip Irrigation Tape

The production equipment for drip irrigation tape mainly includes single screw extruders (main machine), auxiliary machines, and rewinding machines. The basic structure of a single screw extruder consists of five parts: transmission device, feeding device, barrel, screw, head, and die.

transmission. The part that drives the screw transmission is usually composed of an electric motor, a reducer mechanism, and bearings. During a stable extrusion process, the screw speed must be kept constant to prevent fluctuations in the extrusion volume. In order to meet different production requirements, the screw should be driven at a variable speed, and the transmission device of the extruder generally adopts a continuously variable speed.

Feeding device. The feeding device generally adopts a conical feeding hopper, with a cooling water jacket around the feeding port to remove the heat transferred from the high-temperature barrel to the hopper, in order to prevent the plastic from heating up and sticking at the feeding port, resulting in uneven feeding or obstructed flow.

Machine barrel. It is one of the main components of an extruder, where the plasticization and pressurization processes of plastics are carried out. The pressure inside the barrel during extrusion can reach 30-50Mpa, and the temperature is generally 150-300 ℃. The interior of the barrel is equipped with zone heating and cooling devices.

Screw. The screw is a critical component of the extruder. Due to the rotation of the screw, the plastic inside the barrel moves, receiving pressure and some heat. The geometric parameters of the screw have a significant impact on its performance. The main parameters of the screw are its diameter, length to diameter ratio, compression ratio, etc. Currently, the screw of drip irrigation extruders mainly has a diameter of 40 and 50mm, with a length to diameter ratio of approximately 30:1 to 40:1.

Head and mouth mold. The machine head is the transition part between the mouth mold and the barrel. The mouth mold is a formed component of the product section, which is fixed to the machine head by bolts or other methods. The rationality of the machine head and mouth mold has a significant impact on the yield and quality of the product, and the size is determined based on practical experience or rheological knowledge. Auxiliary machines mainly include molding molds, traction machines, and parameter control systems. Its main functions are product molding, product cooling, product parameter control, etc. The winding machine is mainly used to roll products into finished ones and record the number of meters.
